Memorial services to honor the life of Mr. Grammas will be 3:00 PM Saturday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Clarence Joseph “Joe” Grammas, 64, of 502 Garvin Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at his home. Born in Painesville, Ohio he was a son of the late Clarence Henry and Zola Fulkrod Grammas. He was a retired chemist from Cognis in Simpsonville, and was an avid fisherman.
He served his country and earned The Bronze Star during the Vietnam War where he was a member of the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division.
Surviving is his wife, Brenda G. Grammas of the home; three daughters, Jeanna Foley and her husband James of Hartwell, GA, Julia Bagwell of Easley, and Jodie Hunt and her husband Marty of Buford, GA; a sisters, Norma Coble of Liberty; 9 grandchildren.
