Charles E. Stancil, 76, of 408 N. Church Street, passed away peacefully, Friday April, 19, 2019 at his home. Born in Cateechee, he was the husband of Faye Snider Stancil of the home and a son of the late Melvin and Florene Owens Stancil. He was retired from Liberty Denim and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Charlene Johnson(Mike), Tressy Whitmire(Tommy) and Kimberly Stancil all of Cateechee; two sons, Tim Stancil(Lisa) and David Stancil(Carmen) all of Cateechee; four grandchildren, Brandon and Deanna Johnson, Stephanie Anthony and Alicia Chapman; and one great granddaughter, Adalynn Chapman.
No services are planned at this time. The family will be at their respective homes.
