Graveside services to honor the life of Mrs. Kelley will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Liberty Memorial Gardens conducted by Reverend William Heatherly. Mrs. Kelley will lie-in-state for the public to view from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Liberty Mortuary.

Carolyn Duncan Kelley, 78, of Richwood Drive, died Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her residence. Born in Six Mile, she was the widow of Leon Russell Kelley and a daughter of the late Henry Lawrence and Dovie Stewart Duncan. She was the last remaining survivor of her immediate family. She enjoyed reading and watching television, but she really loved taking care of her cats. She was retired from the textile industry and also had worked as a custodian at Liberty Middle School. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her daughter, Karen Kelley of Liberty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband parents she was preceded in death by a brother, William Duncan; and three sisters, Lois Scruggs, Avanelle Black and Ruth Conley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pickens County Humane Society: 500 Five Forks Road Liberty, SC 29657.
