Carol Myers

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Myers will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at East Side Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Carol Myers, 51, of 22 Boggs Drive, went to her Heavenly home, Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the wife of Richard E. Myers of the home and the daughter of Ann Donnerstag Butler of Greenville. She was the study hall teacher at Liberty High School and loved cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and spreading the word of God. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Allison Smith and her husband Tim of Liberty; a son, Derrick Myers and his wife Shanna of Easley; a brother, Walter Werner, Jr. of Duncan; a sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Phillips of Pickens; and three grandchildren, Reece and Noah Smith and Preston Myers.
