Buford Ray York, 78, of 156 Crimson Hollow, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at his residence. Born in Oconee County he was a son of the late Carl Turner and Sadie Moore Turner.
Surviving are five daughters, Deniza Kilby of Central, Rachel Howard of Liberty, Faye Adams (Ray) of Pickens, Judy York of Liberty, and Brenda Riddle (David) of Easley; a son, Jerry Ray York (Geneva) of Greenville; two sisters, Betty Cantrell and husband Doyle of Pickens, and Pat Jenkins of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Carl Turner, Jr. of Greenville, and Kenneth Turner of Florida; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren; a special niece, Cindy Galloway.
