Betty Lou Littleton Rampey, 85, widow of William Calvin Rampey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Born in Salem she was a daughter of the late Roy R. and Ollie Lewis Littleton. She worked with her husband in their family business Calvin Rampey Furniture and Appliances for numerous years and during her free time loved to read.

Surviving are a daughter, Krystal Pettigrew (Ian) of Taylors; three sons, Brad Rampey (Karen) of Easley, and Kirk Rampey (Lisa) of Simpsonville, and Jim Wayland of Knoxville, TN; three sisters, Bobbie Ann White of Tamassee, Carolyn Parham of Rutherfordton, NC, and Mary Woodall of Easley; also surviving are five granddaughters, Alicia Rampey, Lauren Rampey (Marco), Amelia Pettigrew, and Olivia and Caroline Rampey; also surviving is a daughter in law, Karen Ostrowski of Mill Spring, NC.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Crane and Charlotte Crowe, and two brothers, Roy Lewis and Billy Littleton.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

I always enjoyed seeing her smiling face. She told me that she would be 85 years old in 3 weeks if she lived. I told her, "Miss Betty, you know Jesus, you will be alive in 3 weeks." I sent her a birthday card in the mail, her son gave me her address. The next time I saw her, she told me that she got her birthday card in the mail, but it was soaking wet with water. So I sent her another birthday card the end of July or beginning of August this year. Because of that birthday card, her son sent me this notification. Your family are in my prayers.
