Funeral services to honor Betty’s life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service.
Betty Doris Chappell Clark, 81, of 716 E. Cedar Rock Street, died Wednesday at Manna Health and Rehab. Born in Easley she was a daughter of the late William Sanford and Lucille Dodgens Chappell.
She retired from the Pancake House in Easley and was of the Baptist faith. During her time as a resident at Manna she enjoyed attending services and playing bingo.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Harden (Howard) of Pickens; two sisters, Pat Rockwell and Barbara Hudson both of Easley; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Holliday, a son, Donald Robert Clark, a granddaughter, Melissa Diane Harden, and 9 brothers & sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090-6011.
