Angie Ellenburg Hughes, 87, of 16 Torrey Pines Court and former longtime resident of Liberty, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg. Born in Pickens she was the wife of Joel Grady Hughes, Jr. and she was the daughter of the late James T. and Katie Parsons Ellenburg. She was a retired interior designer and a member of Liberty First Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband was a daughter, Gail Allen and her husband Danny of Spartanburg; 2 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. The family will be at their respective homes. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
