A visitation to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brown will be held Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Liberty Mortuary.
Amy Sue Whitmer Brown, 42, of Highpoint Road died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her residence. Born in Oil City PA, she was the wife of Dwayne D. Brown and the daughter of Ronald L. Whitmer, Sr. and his wife Patricia of Liberty and the late Carroll Sharrar Urey.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father are a daughter, Leslie Whitmer of the home; a son Preston Whitmer of the home; a step son Thomas James Shead of Greenville; 2 brothers, Ron Whitmer and John Whitmer (Kimberly) both of Liberty; 2 half brothers, Fred Urey of Anderson and Rod Urey of Franklin, PA; a grandson, James Thomas Shead; 3 nieces, Kayla, Joey and Kacey Whitmer; a nephew, Brandon Whitmer; and a special aunt, Vicky Willyoung.
The family would like to thank everyone with Vistacare Hospice for the most wonderful care that was given to Amy.
