Alice Cornelia Bryant Young, 76, of 112 Ridgeland Drive, died Friday at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Six Mile, she was the wife of James Abner “Joe Dean” Young and a daughter of the late Clarence McDaniel and Mamie Eugena Holiday Bryant. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved flowers, cooking and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 daughters, Linda Gillespie(Roger) of Six Mile and Brenda Edwards(Sammy) of Liberty; 4 sons, David Young(Brenda) of Central, Doug Young(Deborah) of Six Mile, Dennis Young of Six Mile and Daniel Young(Karen) of Six Mile; 3 brothers, Bill, Ralph and James Bryant; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Claude McDaniel Bryant.
