Funeral services for Mrs. McMinn will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Liberty Mortuary. Burial will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Aletha “Bobbie” Huff McMinn, 70, of 180 Newton Road, died Monday at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Moncks Corner, she was the widow of the late Robert Lee McMinn and a daughter of the late John R. and Sadie Dangerfield Huff, Sr. She was a homemaker who loved singing and praising the Lord and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Deborah Perry and her husband David of Liberty, Karen Jeffcoat of Greenwood and Doris Granger and her husband Tim of Easley; 4 sons, Randall McMinn and his wife Karen of Sunset, Thomas McMinn of Pickens, Jerry McMinn and his wife Lynn of Sunset and Merle McMinn and his wife Kimberly of Rosman, NC; 4 sisters, Leah Dupree, Julia Hall and Angie Rhodes all of Moncks Corner and Miriam Brinson of Macedonia; a brother, Newton Huff of Moncks Corner; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Carolyn Louise McMinn; a brother, John R. Huff, Jr.; and a daughter in law, Mindy McMinn.
