Assistant Manager/Funeral Director/Embalmer, Reid Bagwell, joined us here at Liberty Mortuary in 2005. Born in Greenville, Reid moved to Liberty at a young age and graduated from Liberty High School in 1988.

He attended Tri-County Technical College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electronics Technology. He later attended Piedmont Technical College, where in 2006, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business with a major in Funeral Service.

Reid and his wife of 29 years, Crystal Brown Bagwell, have three children, a son-in-law, and a grandson named Levi Ellsworth, who is Papa’s “best buddy.”

Reid is a Past Master at Liberty Masonic Lodge #235 A.F.M. He also enjoys attending church with his family at First Baptist Church of Norris, as well as deer hunting and fishing. He and Crystal love to travel with friends and family, especially on cruise ships.

Reid is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, SC License #3354.
