A Liberty native, Jason Melton began working at Liberty Mortuary in 2001 as a funeral assistant.  He is a 1999 graduate of Liberty High School.  He also is the one that keeps our well manicured landscaping looking great here at the mortuary and Liberty Memorial Gardens.

Jason has been a full-time fireman for 21 years and currently works at Keowee Springs Fire District in Six Mile, South Carolina.  His wife, Jessica, is a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice). Together, they have two sons, Jacob and Jonathan, that are both involved in baseball, football, and basketball. They attend Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family.
