Ronald Bruce Honer of Liberty South Carolina passed on to eternal life on Sunday December 18, 2011. Ron was born on 1/17/1945 in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and attended Temple University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Was of the Lutheran faith who loved fishing, picnics, the beach, tennis and his German Shepherds.
Ron is survived by his loving mother Alberta Siebott Elfrey of Philadelphia, PA, his son Lance Honer of Horsham, PA and brothers Robert Honer of Ocean City, NJ, and John Elfrey of Philadelphia, PA. Also close to his heart are nephews Chris Honer, Matt Honer and Johnny Elfrey and lifelong friend Carole Hasson.
