Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Robert Lee Williams, 63, of 320 Old Bethlehem School Road, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Central, SC. Born in Piedmont, he was the husband of Emily Holliday Williams of the home and was the son of Martha Morton Williams of Pickens and the late Zeb Williams. He was retired from Blue Ridge Electric after 38 years and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two daughters, Lindsey Williams and her fiancé Jason Constance of Pickens and Allison Bowes and her husband Matt of Greenville; a son, Chris Williams and his fiancé Samantha Hunter of Easley; a sister, Marlene Southern and her husband Larry of Travelers Rest; a brother, Ray Williams and his wife Linda of Lugoff; four grandchildren, Katelyn, Connor, Brennen and Karley; and a very special niece, Missy Edens and her husband Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate: 1835 Rogers Road Anderson, SC 29621. The family will be at the home of Norman and Carol Holliday at 603 Camp Creek Road Central, SC 29630.
