Phillip Ray James, 76, of 1163 Stewart Gin Road, died Friday, February 2, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in South Bend, Indiana he was a son of the late Donald and Gervae Smith James.

Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Turner (Bryan) of Easley; two sons, Mark James (Vikki) of Greenville, and Tim James (Heather) of Avon, NC; a brother, Kenneth James of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Katie James, David James, Matthew James, and Allison Turner.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Union Cemetery in Altamont, IL. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 AM at the Gieseking Funeral Home, 208 N. 2nd Street, Altamont, Illinois.

Liberty Mortuary is handling local arrangements.
