Funeral services to honor Mark’s life will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial with Fire Department Honors will follow at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the mortuary. Honorary escort will be the Liberty Fire Department and Pickens County EMS.
Phillip Mark Eades, 54, of Liberty, passed away peacefully Friday November 18, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Easley he was the son of Lola Mae Eades and the late Paul M. Eades.
Mark worked for over 23 years as a EMT-I for Pickens County EMS. He was previously a volunteer & part time employee of the Liberty Fire Department, and a reserve police officer for the City of Clemson.
He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves, and was a member of Liberty Christian Outreach.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Melba Greene Eades of the home; a daughter, Misty Medlin of Liberty; a step daughter, Scarlet Ham of Gaffney; a step son, Ernie Ramsey of Gaffney; two brothers, Tommy Eades of Liberty, and Michael Eades of Cosby, TN; four grandchildren, Ashley Ramsey, Aaron Evans-Medlin, Lukas Ham, and Sarah-Faith Medlin.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Eades.
