A memorial service for Mrs. Evatt conducted by Reverend Roger Owens will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at the mortuary. A interment will be held at a later date.

Wanda Lee Evatt, 74 years old, of 1916 Moorefield Memorial Highway, passed away July 20, 2023. Mrs. Evatt was born in Greenville County. She was the daughter of the late John Campbell.

Wanda loved to cook, spending time with her children and great-grandchildren. She always said “My family is my heart.”

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Garvin “Dean” Paul Evatt of the home, two daughters Melissa Cox of Pickens and Carla Lostraglio of Liberty, and a son Mitchell Evatt of Pickens; sister Patsy Thompson of Voldosta, GA, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Evatt was predeceased by 2 sisters, 6 brothers, 3 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
