Rebecca LaBoone “Becki” Holcombe, 70, of Gray Court, South Carolina, died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Easley, she was the widow of Randy Lee Holcombe and a daughter of the late William and Helen Cannon LaBoone.

She worked as a home health Nurse for over 30 years, which she enjoyed because she loved taking care of people. She was a member of Family of God Baptist Mission Church and was the pianist for many years.

Mrs. Holcombe enjoyed playing the piano, crafts, and reading but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is a son, Brandon Holcombe (Ashley) of Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Holcombe, Charolette Holcombe, and Remington Holcombe.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. No services are planned.

Oh, Becki! I just found out you took your journey home to be with Randy! My heart is so broken! Only a few days before, we talked about our sweet friend Kenny's passing and what a kind heart he had. I will miss our talks. You were one of my biggest supporters and I'll never forget all the kind words you spoke privately and publicly about my writings. You encouraged me more than you could ever have known. And that time when you, Randy, and I met for dinner and I took that endearing picture of the two of you which inspired my heart to create one of my favorite Poetry Images as a gift to you. You and Randy had something so very special that I truly wanted for my own life. You were a special, blessed couple on earth, and now so much more so in heaven. I love you forever, my sweet friend! "Goodbye is Not the End".

So saddened by this. Becki is my niece so of course I have known her all of her life. We haven't lost Becki, for we all know where she is. She is with her family again So sorry that I didn't get to say goodbye. But we will be together again someday.. Love you Becki.

Becki was my first cousin and although as adults we rarely saw one another, as young girls we were close. She was a very talented pianist, caring daughter for her mother who had MS and will be a missed member of the Cannon family. Rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Becki. She was my school friend. Enjoyed many hours of chorus concerts, being in the ensemble together and reconnecting through Facebook and class reunions. Many memories of this sweet person. Prayers to the family.
