Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Harless will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Sammy Kay Jr. and Dr. Sammy Kay, Sr.. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the mortuary. Carol Ann Harless, 79, of Easley, South Carolina, died Sunday, July 25, 2021 at her residence. Born in Charleston, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Earl Hansford and Eula Goff Moles.
She was raised in Charleston, West Virginia and graduated from Dupont High School. She worked as a secretary for Robinson Funeral Home, and later Liberty Mortuary where she retired.
Carol attended Truth Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a longtime member of Point Lick Gospel Tabernacle in Charleston, WV.
She loved traveling back home to West Virginia to visit family, spending time with her girls, and her loving husband Jim.
Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Jimmy L. Harless of the home; 2 daughters, Dena Bell, of California, MD, and Michele “Missie” West (David) of Yorktown, VA; 2 sons, Philip Stephen Harless (Sherry) of Wellford, and Randy Harless of Mauldin; two brothers, Danny “Red” Moles and Larry “Allie” Moles both of Charleston, WV; 8 grandchildren, Justin Bell, Stephen Bell (Kaitlyn), Deanna McGee (Tyler), Caleb Irving, Zachary West, David West, Jr., Evie Harless, and Brandon Johnson; also surviving are 5 great grandchildren, Peyton, Gavin, Hayden, Abigayle Rose “Rosie”, and Harlyn Marie.
In addition her parents she was preceded in death by a son in law, Ricky Bell, two sisters, Dorothy Hearn, and Norma Gates, and three brothers, Earl “Bubby”, Donald “Toe”, and Kenneth “Wag” Moles.
