Funeral services and burial to honor Cory’s life will be private.

Andrew Cory Stone, 36, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Sunday, June 11, 2023 in Seneca, SC.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was also a South Carolina Gamecocks fan along with Nascar and Richard Petty.

Surviving is his mother and step father, Wendy McClellan (Hugh) of Easley; his father and step mother, Alan Stone (Mary) of Liberty; a brother, Chad Stone (Marie) of Liberty; a sister, Erica Stone of Liberty; a step brother, Zachary Poole of St. Augustine, FL; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The family will be at their respective homes.

Alan and Wendy, I’m sending my prayers and sincerest condolences to you and your family. A parent is not supposed to bury a child. However, God must have a bigger plan for Cory and it’s not for us to question and understand. We just have to trust God’s plan for Cory.
