Louise Mauldin Tant, 91, of 102 East Beattie Street, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Liberty she was the widow of Jesse James Tant and a daughter of the late Fulton and Minnie Nations Mauldin. She retired from Woodside Mills and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mildred “Mickie” Simmons of the home; a son, Randy (Tant) Davenport of Liberty; a sister, Selma Sentell of Central; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Gordy Tant.
