Graveside services for Mrs. Pace will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Pace’s body will be available for viewing at Liberty Mortuary Thursday morning after 9:00 AM.
Gladys Geneva Cooper Pace, 95, formerly of 107 John St. in Pickens, died Monday at Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens. Born in Pickens County, she was the widow of the late William J. “Jut” Pace and a daughter of the late Silas Overton and Mary Chastain Cooper. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was formerly employed by Foothills Mfg. Co. for 17 years and was a Stanley Home Products representative for many years. She was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church and the Welcome Sunday School class.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by five brothers; and two sisters.
