Funeral services to honor the life of Eunice Alexander will be 3:00 PM Monday at the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:45 PM.
Eunice Gantt Alexander, 85, of 185 Rice’s Creek Church Road, died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Regency Hospital. Born in Liberty, she was a daughter of the late Maude Powell Gantt and Charlie Gideon Gantt.
She was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church for 50 years, and was currently attending Maranatha Baptist Church. Eunice retired from Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens. She also worked at Glenwood Mills in Easley.
Surviving are her children, Cathy Bates (Bob) of Liberty, Kay Hamilton (Eddie) of Pickens , and Ken Alexander (Tammie) of Easley; six grandchildren: Brett Bates (Barbara) of Norris, Trent Bates (Allison) of Six Mile, Chad Moore (Peggy) of Easley, John Chance Fuller of Greenville, Stephanie Cuddy (Michael) of Seattle, WA, and Cliff Alexander of Easley; seven great-grandchildren: Justin, Travis, Aaron & Autumn Bates, Jacob and Bailey Moore, & Bryson Cuddy.
Eunice was predeceased by her husband, Cliff Alexander, her parents, and two sisters, Louise Waldrop and Ruby Whitlock, and 4 brothers, Eugene, William “Ben”, Dwight, and Roscoe Gantt.
