Funeral services to honor the life of Ernestino will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the mortuary. Burial at Liberty Memorial Gardens will be private.
Ernestino Zapata, 39, of 110 Rock Sound Road, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Colnali Hildago, Mexico he was a son of Felipe and Chica Vite Zapata. He was a member of Golden Creek Baptist Church and was a supervisor with Kris Mechanical. He loved gardening and animals.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Mexico are his wife, Teresa Ann Evett Zapata of the home; a son, Phillip Cody Zapata of the home; two step daughters, Samantha Kelley (Joshua Watts) of Easley, and Tonia Clark of Spartanburg; two brothers, Beni Zapata of Easley, Ricardo Zapata of Mexico ; two sisters both of Mexico; three grandchildren, Tyler Clark, Braylin Clark, and Bryson Watts.
