Ella Louise Posey, 87, of 305 Oak Lane, passed away on Sunday, October 07, 2012 at Manna Health & Rehab in Pickens. Born in Liberty she was a daughter of the late Walter and Lucy Smith Posey. She was a 1942 graduate of Liberty High School and was retired from Woodside Mills with 43 years of service. She was a longtime member of Golden Grove Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are a special niece who was raised in her home, Nancy Edwards and her husband Rev. Lewis B. Edwards of Liberty; a sister, Lucille Hunter and her husband John of Liberty; a brother, Melvin Posey of Easley; a caregiver and family friend, Brenda Waters of Central; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Paul Posey and Walter Posey, Jr.
