Eleanor Ruth Holliday Smith, 87, of 294 Knollview Road passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at her residence. Born in Six Mile she was the widow of Homer Charles Smith and a daughter of the late Vester Henry and Lillie Kelley Holliday. She retired from Pratt Reed and her hobbies included, gardening, flowers, and quilting.
She was a longtime member of Gap Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Norma Aiken and her husband Ronnie of Easley, and Nancy McJunkin of the home; a son, Kenneth Smith and his wife of Central; a sister in law, Martha Stancil of Liberty; two grandchildren, Kevin & Ashley Smith.
