Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Foster will be 11:00 AM Friday at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church Fellowship Hall.
C. Eston Foster, 76, of 8217 Liberty Highway, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his residence. Born in Pelzer he was a son of the late Columbus Ransom and Merlie Black Foster.
He worked his whole life as a carpenter. He was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church, and during his free time loved to do woodworking, play golf, and read.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Mae Looper Foster of the home; two daughters, Libby Maw (Rusty) of Liberty, and Robin Brock (Keith) of Fountain Inn; three sisters, Margaret Limbaugh of Greenville,, Deleana Wilson of Piedmont, and Edith Day of Easley; a brother, Vealon Foster of Greenville; two grandchildren, Ashley Finley and Jeremy Gregg; also surviving are 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Endel Roberts.
The family will be at the home. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
