Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Smith will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Eastside Baptist Church, 1850 Fernwood Glendale Road, Spartanburg SC 29307. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will follow the service at 1:00 PM at Liberty Memorial Gardens, 254 Alta Vista Drive, Liberty SC 29657.

Annie Ruth Smith, 90, of 310 Savanna Plains Drive, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at her home. Born in Six Mile she was the widow of Randolph Smith and a daughter of the late Thomas and Isabel Reece Childs.

She retired from Belk where she worked many years as a buyer and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Spartanburg. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Greene (Martin) of Chesnee; two sons, Tim Smith (Ruth) of Pacolet, and Daniel Smith (Robin) of Spartanburg; a brother, Wayne Childs of Brownwood, TX; a granddaughter, Danielle Davis.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ross Smith.
