Funeral services for Mr. Arnold will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Prayer Baptist Church. Burial will be at Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, July 15 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Liberty Mortuary.

Wayne Harold Arnold, 83, of 678 Old Post Road, died Friday, July 12.,2019 at his residence. Born in Six Mile, he was the widower of Katherine Lounette Fant Arnold, to whom he was married for 6o years, and a son of the late Clayton and Ethel Henson Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a hard worker and carpenter most of his life. He retired from Clemson University where he worked in the paint shop. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a longtime member of Prayer Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Smith and her husband Jeff of Central; five sons, Wayne Arnold and his wife Barbara of Anderson, Russell and Bobby Arnold both of McCormick, Allen Arnold of Florida, and Jonathan Arnold and his wife Shannon of Six Mile; three sisters, Nell Breazeale of California, Martha Jean Moore of Six Mile and Shirley McSwain of Albemarle, NC; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Hendricks and Mildred Murray; a brother, W.C. Arnold; and a grandson, Jason Eric Holder.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Lynn Smith at 819 Gaines Street Central, SC 29630.
