Dear Janie and family members, I send my deep sympathy to you and your family for the passing of Wayne. It was so good to see both you and Wayne at our Class Reunion in October. At that gathering it was not possible to sit and chat with you two as I would have liked but I remember you both as very special people. One of my memories of Wayne about fifteen years ago is a visit he made to the home of my neighbor and to me when he learned that I lived next door. We had a wonderful conversation about our times and lives since our high school days. I learned of Wayne's dedication to his faith from this neighbor, that he served his Lord faithfully and that he was a loved member of his church and community. He will be missed but remembered well by those who knew him. My love and prayers to you and your family as you grieve and adjust to his loss. Sincerely, Judy Smith Lindsay

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I worked with Wayne when he first came to work with Bell Telephone. I had only been working there myself for about 6 months. I always admired him for his great demeanor and work ethic. I remember his dry wit and chuckle. In recent years, I would run into him from time to time at high school football game or Margaret's Cafe. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace. Jerry M Miller and wife, Betty Bolding Miller

So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. We worked together for many years. We came to work with Southern Bell on the exact same day at Easley. We worked on line crew together and later he went inside to the switch room and I went into the cable department. I remember the times when Wayne and Janie and my wife , Carleen and I would go to Clemson football games. That was many years ago but it is still a cherished memory. I will keep you in my prayers and watch the memorial service when it is posted. Gerald Robinson
