W.C. Dollan “Dole” Dodson

Funeral services for Mr. Dodson will be held at 3:00 PM Monday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:00 PM at the mortuary.
Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
W.C. Dollan “Dole” Dodson, our beloved father, Papa Dole, Great Papa Dole, friend and veteran went to heaven on July 20, 2012. He was 75 years old.

He was born on January 3rd, l937. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joe Dodson. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Carol Dodson and baby daughter Teresa Diane Dodson.

He worked in the construction industry with Daniel Construction and then became a self-employed
contractor until retirement. He was an avid hunter, farmer, and enjoyed helping others.

He will be deeply missed by his four children, Melissa (David) Robinson, Sheila (Willie) Burnside,
Jamie (Tracy) Dodson all of Six Mile, S. C. John (Diane) Dodson of Donalsonville, Ga. One brother Herb Dodson of Six Mile. Eight grandchildren, Michael Evans, Candice Stephens,
Kyle Dodson, Bailey & Hailey Burnside, Georgia, Audrey & Jackson Dodson and three great-grandchildren, Parker Stephens, Trevor Dodson, and Alexis Evans.
