Funeral services for Mrs. Crawford will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Liberty Church of God followed by burial at Liberty Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Liberty Church of God.
Virginia Gravitt Crawford, 87, of 112 Apple Drive, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville. Born in Gainesville, GA, she was the wife of Charles Robert “Bob” Crawford of the home and a daughter of the late Fletcher Bell and Mary Myrtlean McIntyre Gravitt. Through the years Mrs. Crawford was not only a homemaker and foster mother to many, but she also worked at the Liberty Flower Shop and was later a CNA at Countryside Living center. She was also a lifetime member of Liberty Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son Vincent Crawford(Cynthia) of Stellarton, Nova Scotia; 3 sisters, Doris Powell(Lewis) of West Columbia, Winifred Benton(Jay) of Greer and Janice Osborne(Wayne) of Powdersville; 2 grandchildren, Charles Crawford of Liberty and Tiffany Williams(Ashley) of Seneca; 4 great grandchildren, Whitney Marchbanks(Tyler) of Liberty, and Dawson, Alexander and Jacob Williams all of Seneca; and a special daughter, Weselene Crawford.
