Travis Lamar Allison

Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Allison will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial in the church cemetery will be private.

Travis Lamar Allison, 68, of 522 Little Pond Road, passed from this life to his eternal home in Heaven Sunday, March 17, 2013. Born in Greenville, he was the husband of Bonnie O’Shields Allison of the home, and a son of the late B.C. Gilstrap and the late Ernest and Christine Carson Allison Looper. He was a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Nancy Aiken (Brian) of Easley; 2 sons, Larry Allison (Stacey) of Pickens and Terry Allison (Tracey) of Easley; 3 step daughters, Donna Albright (Joe) of Powdersville, Anita Finley(the Late David Finley) of Easley and Debbie Hayes (Tony) of Hoschton, GA; a step son, Danny Carter of the home; 2 half brothers, Samuel Allison of Pickens and Bobby Gilstrap of Rocky Bottom; 8 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.

The family will be at the home. Floral arrangements are appreciated but memorials may also be made to Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Building Fund: 745 Wolf Creek Road Pickens, SC 29671.
