Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Wilcox will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery in Liberty. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Theresa Faye Stancil Wilcox, 58, of 212 Oak Knoll Terrace, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Seneca she was a daughter of Brenda Teigue Stancil and the late Jack H. Stancil.
She was a homemaker and loved gardening. Her green thumb kept all her flowers beautiful.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Liberty are her husband of 41 years, Phillip Wilcox of the home; a son, Timothy Wilcox of Anderson; four sisters, Dianne Taylor of Central, Kathy Walter(Mark) of Liberty, Jackie Wilcox(Floyd) of Central, Joy Goza of Central; a brother, Jack Stancil, Jr. of Liberty.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by two sisters, Tammi Smith and Martha Stancil.
