Terry Kennie Gilstrap, 60, of 146 Leroy Drive, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Greenville, he was the husband of Elaine Nimmons Gilstrap of the home and the son of Joseph Kennie and Gladys Duncan “Cricket” Gilstrap both of Liberty. Mr. Gilstrap enjoyed coin collecting and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are 2 step daughters, Crystal Breazeale of Liberty and Melisa Courtney of Alabama; a step son, Shawn Owens of Anderson; 2 sisters, Sherry Freeman(Barry) of Easley and Tracy Hinson(Dean) of Liberty; and 2 granddaughters, Renee Gilstrap of Liberty and Shana Gilstrap of Easley.
He was predeceased by a son, Terry Shane Gilstrap and a stepson, Jonathan Owens.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
