Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Coffey will be 11:00 AM Saturday at First Baptist Church of Norris. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.

Sandra “Sue” Hurst Coffey, 67, of 1118 Winding Creek Road, entered into eternal rest on Thursday following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Harriman, Tennessee she was the widow of Jack Lee Coffey and a daughter of the late Lester and Roxie Buck Hurst. She retired from BASF and was longtime member of First Baptist Church of Norris.

Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Heather and Scott Trotter of Liberty; two sons and daughters in law, Richmond and Donna Coffey of Nashville, TN, and Justin and Brandy Coffey of Pendleton; two sisters, Barbara Roberts and Bonnie Lowery both of Harriman, TN; a brother, Tom Hurst of Harriman, TN; 6 grandchildren, Emily Thomas, Blake & Cameron Harrington, Logan Coffey, and Jake & Caden Trotter.

The family will be at her home. Flowers are appreciated but memorials are requested to First Baptist Church of Norris, Drawer E, Norris SC 29667.
