Graveside services to honor the life of Mrs. Holder will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 3, 2017 at King’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation is planned.

Ruby Sorrells Holder, 92, formerly of Old Seneca Road, went to be with Jesus, Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Born in Westminster, she was married for 75 years to the late William A. “Bill” Holder, Sr. and a daughter of the late Ernest and Clemer Lee Sorrells. She was retired from Garrett’s Department store of Clemson and a member of King’s Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Sandy Gillespie(Roy) of Liberty; a son, Roger Holder of Six Mile; 3 sisters, Dorothy Masters of Charlotte, NC, Mary Reid of Six Mile and Martha Durham of Cowpens; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by 4 precious sons, Billy, Jimmy, Jerry and Danny Holder. 2 brothers, James and Herman Sorrells.
