A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. McJunkin will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:00 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in the family plot at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ruby Ellis McJunkin, 90, of 106 N. Peachtree Street died Sunday at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Pickens, she was the widow of the late Jay C. McJunkin and a daughter of the late Walter Jackson and Lela Moody Ellis. She had been a shut in for several years, but before her illness she had been an active member of Liberty First Baptist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Martha Rhyne and her husband Gary of Central, Joyce Snyder, widow of James Snyder of Easley, Brenda Fowler and her husband David of Liberty and Lynn Boggs and her husband Jack of Pickens; a son, Jay Allen McJunkin and his wife Mary Jo of Central; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Florence McJunkin; a grandson, Richard Wardlaw; 1 sister; and 3 brothers.
