Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Kelly will be conducted 3:00 PM Monday, October 29, 2018 at Gap Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:45 PM Monday in the church sanctuary.

Roger Dorn Kelly, 71, of Six Mile, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Six Mile he was a son of the late Ralph and Eleanor Evatt Kelly.

He was retired from Duke Energy, and was a member of Gap Hill Baptist Church. Roger served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He also enjoyed fishing, golf, and Gamecocks football.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Pinion Kelly of the home; a son, Russell Kelly of Greenville; a sister, Nell Snipes of Six Mile.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leland, Hal, and Ralph Kelly.

The family will be at their respective homes. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Gap Hill Baptist Church, 733 Kelly Mill Road, Six Mile SC 29682.
