Robert Olin Brown, Sr., 71, of 118 Dayton School Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 08, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pickens he was a son of Olin and Aldine Pace Brown.
Mr. Brown retired from the City of Easley with 17 years of service, where he was a Lieutenant on the Fire Department. He was the longtime Minister of Music at Park Street Baptist Church where he was also a member.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Nix Brown of the home; a daughter, Cindy Campbell of Liberty; two sons, B.J. and Alan Brown both of Easley; five sisters, Nancy Reece, Mary Nix, Martha Crowe, Susan Brown, and Frances Hart; four brothers, Sam, Bill, Jim, and Ed Brown; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
