Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Crocker will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Liberty First Baptist Church. Interment will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, Georgia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 until 7:30PM at the Liberty Mortuary.
Robert Mace Crocker, 87, of 60 Highland Court, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Baldwin, Georgia he was a son of the late William Tyson, Sr. and Artha Simmons Crocker. He graduated from Baldwin High School, and retired from Norfolk Southern Railway after 34 years of service.
He was a United States Army veteran, and was a member of Liberty First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He enjoyed spending time with family, gospel music, and collecting model trains.
Surviving are his wife, Latrelle Williams Crocker of the home; a daughter, Kathy Mullis (Tim) of Easley; a son, Rev. Robert T. Crocker (Renee) of Brevard, NC; a brother, Curtis Crocker (Jeanettie) of Madison, MS; four grandchildren, Christopher Crocker (Rebecca), Lauren Garrison (Brett), Kristen Crocker (Marquis), and Zachary Mullis (Emillie); six great grandchildren; three sisters in law, Susan Hoover (Tom) of Flowery Branch, GA, Hellon Skelton of Demorest, GA, and Edna Crocker of Demorest, GA.
