Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Poole will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel conducted by Reverend Gary James. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at the mortuary.

Raymond Glenn Poole, 72, of Velo View Lane, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Athens, he was the husband of Irene DiCataldo Poole and a son of the late Clyde Birch and Ruby Nell Spivey Poole. Glenn was always looking for a deal at yard sales and flea markets. He loved to travel extensively and spend time with his family. After retirement from Lowe’s of Easley he later worked at Dixie Lumber. Glenn had a special talent of speaking and counseling others which he used while also working for Greenlawn Memorial Park. Glenn was very involved with a program called Moving Forward which helped others just like himself in dealing with the loss of a loved one. His philosophy which he lived by was to “Keep on living, or keep on dying.” He was a member of Faith Baptist Church
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Jason Poole and David Poole(Toni) all of Norris; a stepdaughter, Catherine Vincent(Scott) of Kissimmee, FL; and two grandchildren, Ava DiCataldo, Stephanie Vincent.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Alda Jean Poole and a brother, Bob Poole.
The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church: 814 Norris Hwy Central, SC 29630.
