Frances McCall Mathis, 93, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Anmed Health Cannon Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William McCall and Evelyn Chandler Hughes.
She worked many years for Theodore Accounting, and later retired from DSS in Greenville. She was a longtime member of Liberty Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son, Andy Mathis of Liberty; a daughter, Elaine Cole of Liberty; 5 grandchildren, Travis Shelton, Sandy Johnson, Devin Mathis, Alexis Mathis, and Lacey Mathis; also surviving is a great granddaughter, Grace Johnson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Milton Mathis and Timothy Mathis.
