Private graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park. No formal visitation is planned however her remains will be available for viewing from 1:00 until 5:00PM on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the mortuary. Mildred Louise Holder Brewer, 73, of Easley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pickens she was the wife of Larry Richard Brewer for 55 years and the daughter of the late Eddie and Hattie Mae Patterson Holder.

She loved working in areas that served the community. She worked many years as an administrative assistant at area churches, most recently at Secona Baptist Church. She worked at the Red Cross and was a prior director for Meals on Wheels. During her free time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Brewer and her husband were longtime members of Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home, are a son, Greg Brewer Sr. (Rene’) of Easley; two daughters, Teresa Cook (Henry) of Easley, and Kim Wilson (Shane) of Easley; two sisters, Joyce Hayes and Debbie Mason both of Pickens; six grandchildren, Greg Brewer Jr., Jonathan Brewer, Timothy Brewer, Christopher Turner, Michael Chapman, and Lauren Harvey; also surviving are 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Walker and Joan Bay, a granddaughter, Ashley Brewer, and a great granddaughter Ada.
