Lois Louise Granger
Easley, SC
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Lois Louise Granger, who left this world on June 26, 2025, at the age of 89.
Born on March 16, 1936, in Seneca, South Carolina, she was the widow of Fred Granger and a daughter of the late Clayton and Sally Todd Hester. She lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication, primarily as a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant at Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Easley, where she touched the lives of many. She was a long-time member of Galilee Baptist Church.
Grandma loved her family, she could always be found in her kitchen making homemade biscuits, meals FOR HER family and everyone else in the community! Grandma and papas table was a community table! She loved working side by side with papa in the Garden every year just so they could CAN vegetables to stock the pantry for anyone that needed a good jar of tomato and okra soup! She loved to tell stories of her childhood years growing up on Keowee river, and her “Cherokee” heritage. She loved to joke and aggravate her family and brought a lot of laughter to the ones around her. I guess we all inherited a bit of the jokester side of grandma!
Mrs. Granger was a proud mother to her six children: Nancy Belcher, Phyllis Moore, Tommy Granger, Billy Granger, Wayne Granger, and Kenneth Granger. Her family was her greatest treasure and her love for them was immeasurable. She also cherished her time spent with all her many grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
A woman of faith, she loved her precious husband and her Lord and Savior above all else. Her unwavering spirit and kindness were a beacon of hope and comfort to those who knew her.
Graveside services to honor her life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held.
Lois Louise Granger will forever be missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
