Hildegard Shove, a kind soul known for her love of gardening and caring for her pets, passed away on July 14, 2024.
Born on January 23, 1942, in Germany, she dedicated her professional life to maintenance work for Pickens County. She was the widow of David William Shove, Sr. and a daughter of the late Hermann and Maria Gohl.
She leaves behind her loving children, Vienna Hager, Junior Shove, and Frank Shove. She is also survived by a sister, Edith Kleeman; grandchildren Sabrina Minder, Michele Mercier, Hope Mercier & great-grandchildren Justin Minder and Samira Minder.
The Memorial Service in her honor, will be held 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Norris, SC.
In her free time, she found joy in tending to her garden and looking after her three cats and two dogs. Her compassionate nature and love for all living things will be dearly missed by family, friends, and the community she served. Join us in celebrating her life and the memories we shared together.
