B.J. Wilson, 70, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Friday, July 15, 2022 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of Lettie Mae Rousey Vickery Bailey and the late Lindsey Thomas Vickery.

Mrs. Wilson worked over 20 years as an X-ray technician, starting first with Oconee Memorial Hospital and later at the Medical University of South Carolina. She finished her working career along side her husband managing the office of their dental practice, Liberty Dental Care.

She was an avid gardener, who loved quilting, sewing, and embroidery. Above all she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Hartwell, GA is  her husband of 50 years, Dr. Lewis Wilson of the home; a daughter, Kelli Landreth of Liberty; 2 grandchildren, Casey Nix and Christoper Nix; two sisters, Mary Helen Mize of Bowman, GA, and Martha Lane Bryan of Roswell GA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Upcountry Quilters Guild, PO Box 1493, Pickens SC 29671.

In honor of B.J.’s life, the family will have visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the Liberty Mortuary.
