With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph Curtis Robinson, a beloved brother, veteran, and friend, who left us peacefully on April 8, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on October 29, 1943, in Pickens, South Carolina, a son of the late Ira F. and Ocie Jackson Robinson.
Ralph was not just a skilled welder, dedicating many years to the construction industry; he was also a proud combat veteran who served as a squad leader in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He received a Bronze Star for his heroic actions during the war. His courage and dedication to his country were a testament to his character, and his commitment to service extended far beyond his time in uniform. After his honorable discharge, he continued to lead by example, demonstrating resilience and determination in everything he did.
His warm smile, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Latour and Julie Mosley; a brother, William “Tex” Robinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several siblings.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery in Anderson. We invite all family and friends to join us as we celebrate Ralph’s life and pay our final respects to a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many.
