Michael Duncan, a beloved member of the Six Mile community, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 following an extended illness.
Born in Easley, SC on December 13, 1970, he was a son of Harold and Helen Camp Duncan.
He spent his entire career working in logging first with his father and most recently with Dustin Durham Logging. Outside of logging, he found solace in fishing and cherished moments spent with his family.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Six Mile are a son, Austin Duncan (Alicia) of Six Mile; two grandchildren, Blake Duncan and Aubriella Duncan; also surviving are three nephews, Kevin Duncan, Kyle Duncan, and Dustin Duncan (Tiffany), along with his great nephew Cameron, and great niece, Peyton.
Funeral services to celebrate Michael’s life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2024 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Duncan.
The family will be at the home of his parents, 160 Duncan Road, Six Mile SC.
